The Moodboard, Three Years Before the Series

Years before production began, ZEROZEROZERO already had a world. We explored its locations, characters, actors, environments, music and narrative references through an extensive visual research process. The moodboard was not a collection of images, but a way to begin defining the project's tone, atmosphere and creative direction long before the first frame was shot.

This work was developed years before generative AI became part of the creative toolkit. The method was already there: research, exploration, world building and creative direction before production.
